My husband claims that these billboards are for the Cartoon Network. He saw one on Canal and Varick. This is what I've come out of lurking for.

"im a hot toe picker"
"OOOoooo Shiny" (or something like that)
After a few weeks or a month or so one of the Cartoon network characters will show up on the board (and the CN logo of course).
GREAT signs though. I wondered about the Im a Hot Toe Picker for a month every day on the way to work.
It must be for Meatwad from AquaTeen Hunger Force.

They're for the cartoon network... we saw them on vacation in NC, and on the way back from vacation, they had added text for Cartoon network... My favorite one was, "I pooted".
Maaaaan, I want cool billboards.
We just get ones for Hooters.
