Holy crap! Sending good thoughts of very little pain for Mrs. Nice Guy, and for lots of martinis and Jack for Mr. Nice Guy.

And here's to Baby Nice Guy!

Many vibes of easy childbirth for Mrs. Nice Guy, Many funky cigars passed for Mr. Nice Guy, and lots of hugs and kisses for new Baby Nice Guy.

Hope you got some sleep Mr. Nice Guy, because you ain't gettin any anytime soon!

Oh, wow.

I'm really not sure who this day will be most traumatic for - Mrs. Nice Guy for obvious reasons, Baby Nice Guy for the rude awakening, Mr. Nice Guy for the hangover he's likely to have when he wakes up, or our poor misguided doula when she realizes that no one is going to eat that sweet, delicious placenta.

Gak.

I just found your blog today and had to sneak away between teaching my little 3rd and 4th grade darlings to read the entire archives. Does that make me a horrible teacher? I'm sure you'll do a better job at being a dad. Good luck and I love your blog!

Hang in there. I can't even imagine. I'm avoiding grownup-ness at all costs. Give you wife whatever she wants!
